Why do we need the intermediary of ChangeTip? Why can't content creators, etc just put their BTC address on their websites, posts, etc???

I have been using Changetip for several months now, I thank reddit users for introducing me to it when I got my first tips on a post I made and had no idea what it was. Someone explained it to me and I was impressed when I looked into the platform.

Changetip is clearly a very aggressive effort to promote the adoption to the masses, from the frequent changetip tips being sent and received throughout our Twitter streams, each of them having an explanation image attached to them with friendly cartoon like imagery and news of getting something for nothing.

Now that they are enabled on Facebook, even more mainstream exposure that will reach far and get more people interested and talking about the "free money" they received and it being in the form of Bitcoin.

The only thing missing from this excellent effort at mass adoption brought to life by Changetip is the most important factor that is currently missing, in my opinion is a type of debit card where everyone can apply to have sent to them by email so that they could use their tips collected in stores, atm's etc similar to what Xapo does with their debit card that allows anyone to spend their btc wallet balance anywhere that Visa Debit cards are accepted.

Cost is also a factor, that being said, perhaps in the meantime before investing in all the debit cards to send out to changetip users, perhaps incorporate a giftcard exchange within changetip where people who recieved tips could easily exchange them on the fly for virtual gift cards delivered straight to their smartphone that they would use for in store purchases or even online ones.

I know they can currently send their changetip balance out to Gyft and buy gift cards for almost anything there with their btc but this is just an extra step that most people are not willing to take or simply they lose interest in the effort needed (a few more clicks) and then customer retention is low to non existent.
