Need to lose 30 pounds before I leave - any tips?

Nutrition-cut our unnecessary calories, especially with beverages. No drinks with calories, not even juice. No alcohol, Starbucks, juice. Skipping meals will make you hungry, but leaving out drinks with calories is so much easier.

Cut back on carbs for a quick weight loss. Research how many calories are in things. For example, I love Chipotle burritos. I like to get it with rice, lettuce, chicken, salsa, and cheese. (No sour cream, guac, or beans). It’s 1000 calories! But, if I make that a salad instead, so no tortilla (320 calories), and no rice (210), so that’s a 450 difference! I don’t get chipotle often, but that’s an example of learning what makes up your food and what you can cut out. Tortilla and rice are largely carbs, and if you get double meat, yes you add more calories, but it’s protein. The reason I use this example is because it’s an example of calories that you can eliminate or substitute without feeling like you really missed anything. The two hardest parts about dieting are not being able to eat foods you like, and being hungry. Cutting little things here and there where you won’t miss it will make a huge difference
