So I ended up getting the Plantonics Rig 800lx. It was a toss up between them and the ls35x tho that being said the astro and razor thresher were the other options.
I went with the P800 cause it was afforable (best buy had a sale $120), it came with free software, and it looked like a easy setup (which it is) compared to the setup for the astros and thresher, but the lsx seemed like the easiest among the 4 of them. Lsx35 lost solely to price. astros and thresher seemed like to much work and to pricey for extra stuff i didnt care for.
Review (may seem negative but i do like them and will keep them til they die, but i paid extra for the warranty bwahahaha)
Comfortability: They arent uncomfortable, but wouldnt same they are comfortable either, it just works. sometimes headband get bothersome but easily fixed with a small quick adjustment. I dont really like the ear piece adjustment cause it only comes in 3 options and my perfect fit is in between the bottom options, but i make it work.
Sound quality: is normal/average. it does surround sound. it makes squeaks or static when nothings happening,there doesnt seem to be any firmware update to fix this and this time. the chat game mixer is 50/50 depending on the game, either its good or it isnt, if it isnt it can be fixed but take a little work, just make the necessary adjustments to the in game audio and headset as needed.
Setup: super easy just plug in the adpator to a usb port xbox1/pc and make sure the switch is in the correct position. Dont even need to download the software or change settings on the xbox but it is recommend for better sound quality minor diff but still nice.
Battery: I cant really say if they are good or bad cause i have no prior experience to base/compare them to, on a full charge they will last the weekend fri-sun usually 6-12 session a day before needing a charge
Mic: Nobodies complained about the quality, and when asked they say i sound fine. I really do like the flip mic for mute or chat its nifty.
