I'm also in a very bad mood. Which isn't to do with you so I apologise. I am out of line.
I was initially, however, being helpful and true to my word with that opening question.
It's not about MacOS vs Windows. I asked in case you were a hobbiest or something who may be spending too much money on Apple stuff when you can get the same performance for less.
Since it's a work thing, that's cool - I used to work in IT - I know there are policies about X or Y systems.
And when I said "Ask someone there" it wasn't flippant - I was saying ask one of your professional colleagues who has a nice new mac to see what they think - you work with them, right? Same office or something? Just go over and ask. These people do the same job as you - very specifically the same as you because you work at the same company and likely on similar projects.
Anyway, sorry I went a bit nuts. I shouldn't have done that.
