Dude, I'm sorry, but no you're not. You're responding to hear yourself talk. Nothing you have suggested has been either responsive or helpful. I asked for a router with a certain capability. Nobody who has responded, included you, has even attempted to answer that question. Instead, you, and everyone else, assumed I'm some moron who doesn't understand the limitations of CAT3 wiring.

So then I add an edit clarifying that I'm not retarded and that I recognize that potential solutions are rewiring the building or buying a VDSL modem. So what happens?

You show up and tell me to reterminate. I tell you the terminations are fine and that I'm at the end of the run. Your response is "that's probably your issue." Which is fucking hilarious because in my original post I wrote "I am at the end of a CAT3 run." It's almost like I already identified the issue! So thank you, Captain Obvious, for pointing that out to me. Thank God for you!

I then respond that I know that's the issue and fucking REPEAT my plea for someone to help me find a router that won't auto-negotiate or fallback. Your super helpful reply? "[G]et a booster" or, and this is the best, "just find out how to turn off auto negotiation," THE ENTIRE PURPOSE OF THIS THREAD!
