To top top everything off the 40 hours worked now are a lot more work than they used to be. Ya people used to "work" way more than 40 hours like it was normal ages ago, but those work hours were more like hanging out with the crew and getting some stuff done. Now instead it's all about squeezing every last drop of productivity by any means necessary like being forced to be productive at a desk with a boss that has a program running on your computer to make sure you are actually being productive for 40 hours. So not only was the work less demanding but the pay for the less demanding work was way better too! So it's no wonder the older generations liked going to work more than the younger ones do.
