Today i got to walk this precious pup! The first half of our walk was amazing, she was such a sweet girl but the last 15 minutes of it turned sour really fast.

I am already a little on edge because in my area a woman who was walking a dog through Rover was recently just stabbed to death. Like literally the story was reported this morning.

Our first encounter came from this creepy dude who couldn't take "no" for an answer. He came up to me and the pup is very friendly so of course she was more than happy to say hi. He kept blabbing on about something while also trying to put his hand on me and kept getting closer to me. I kept backing away from him and he just kept getting closer and closer. After a while he asked for my phone number and i began walking away and he kept trying to call for me.

2 minutes later i notice this woman behind me, yelling something but i couldn't hear because of all the cars. She catches up to us and starts yelling at me telling me "you effing Jew you use my blood to give to this f'ing dog?! I'm gonna kill your dog, you (slurred used against the lgbtq community)." I think at this point the pupper notices somethings wrong and this old lady tried to smack the dog in the face as she kept approaching me and the dog snaps at her and starts barking. I tell her to get away from us and take a picture of her. She continued to follow us so I had to call the cops. Cops show up and question her and tell me I'm free to go. I called the cops cuz i did not want this woman to know where the dog lived.

I call the owner and explained everything to him and he seemed very understanding.

I'm still shaken up by this but please be careful out there! Especially the ladies.
