Need some help to sell or not to sell

Sorry I know I've posted this wrong facepalm

So to start, I passed my test I'm 2018, passed practical and finally last year after going through a redundancy and taking a while to save (low paid job) I saved up enough for my first car.

I drove happily for the first 3/4 months until someone hit me in the back/bumper. It took a long time (just over 1 month nearly 2) to get everything fixed and sorted. I went back to public transport. Since then, I was diagnosed with anxiety and was on medication. This was unrelated to this accident.

My ex was stalking me and essentially throughout 2020 and most of last year.

I became very ill from this and as a result I haven't been able to drive properly for the majority of this year. I also didn't drive as per doctors advice.

My dad (bless him) has kept the car ticking for me. I am aware I'm still struggling and I'm not sure if I should do one of a number of options as I'm aware he isn't a fan of my car.

My car is 2015 yaris I think 1.5l. I still have gap insurance and finance on it. I have been paying this off and aiming to get it done by end of the year.

I'm hoping that I can get some peoples advice as I'm at a stand still.

Option 1; Keep it on drive and pay it off and then next year (aiming to be better for) to then drive again.

Option 2; Pay it off, sell it, get better buy something smaller and slower.

I would really like to hear other options as I genuinely don't know what to do.
