Need some nosurf help / advice

Well, you don't reduce your internet time just setting a time and following this. It is a change of mindset. Change your habits, learn to use your time wisely. You don't need to be entirely offline. As you said, work or study without e-mail is impossible today. Just reduce, change your view of internet. Reduce the use of some websites, increase IRL activities as sports and socializing with people for example. After a long long time you will reach this 1 hour you want. But you do need to change, not only follow a guideline. Create new habits takes a lot of time.

I replaced online with board games with friends, and retrogames emulation. Since 2015 I don't sped a cent on games. And in 2012 I used to play up to 30 hours a week. Now I play 8 (if you consider 5 hours of board games + pizza, and the other 3 hours on SNES, NES, PSX, GBA, NDS cconsoles emulation, or 3 hours of couch gaming with the board game group).

If you use social media, youtube and time waster sites, reconsider the use. I won't say what I did to change my life, I will just say that I tries so many times, and failed so many times, that I discovered you don't quit an habit, you change it, by changing you view of entertainment, use of information and ways to deal with people around you. Improve IRL experiences, improve your mind reading offline books, improve our body with sports or exercises, improve your offline life and give credit to it and your online life will be secondary.

I went from 10 hours of internet a week 5 years ago, to 10 hours a week now. There are way to do this, it is not easy, but as I said you need to change yourself and your views about what surrounds you. You can be a constant internet guy, no problem. It is only a choice. You have control over yourself and your ideas, quit internet is not something to blame on others or on a computer. You reached this level now, but there is always a way out, if you consider you can do it, you will do it.

Take care.
