I need sources to prove most companies are inherited

I don’t see how it is necessarily relevant. If most slaves were not inherited, does that make slavery okay? After all, the slaveholder surely must have earnt his property.

In any case, there are few studies done on this question, because it isn’t the “done thing” to ask in bourgeois science. Still, I think it plain that property doesn’t simply disperse into the ether; it is almost invariably passed down. When it is not, the accumulated fortune of an individual is. This, combined with the enormous benefits in terms of education, health etc. wealth confers, does enough to deal a blow to the “meritocracy” argument.

Despite this, whether or not Capitalism is a “meritocracy” (insofar as the most talented or capable rise to the top) is in large part irrelevant if the relations of production defining it are so morally egregious and economically inefficient as to be simply unacceptable.
