Need Welsh translation help

Ok, here's the first page. It's difficult to translate accurately because it's in such archaic 'church welsh'. I omitted some sentences where it was basically just praising God. If you're confused about any of it, feel free to ask - it's quite a rushed translation. Mr Jonah Morris, Long Creek Iowa

The subject of our memorial was born sometime in the month of June, 1797, in the Parish of Trelech, Carmarthenshire. He was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Morris from the Dinns (as they were called) [not sure what 'o'r Dinns' is. Could also be 'dinas' which means city?]. His father died when he was only 15 months old. After his father's death, his mother became a midwife> He lived with his mother until he was quite old [it really says this!]. In the meantime, he had a better education than average for someone of his circumstances at that time. Then he learnt the craft of being a blacksmith [text blurry so uncertain, but I think this is what it says]. Soon after this he married Elizabeth James, the daughter of William James from - or near to - Dre wen, Cardiganshire, who was an exceptionally faithful, kind, hardworking wife to him until he died. She is still alive. Within a year of their marriage they joined the Congregationalist church under the watch of the late Rev. Morgan Jones from Trelech. They were faithful to his teachings until the end. He [Jonah] followed his profession [blacksmithery] until the year 1839, when he started carrying [no idea what this means - maybe transporting things?] between Carmarthen and Merthyr Tydfil until 1841. Then he, his wife, and their seven children emigrated to America. Four of the children are alive, and three of them - if not also the fourth (since we don't know much about him) - are comfortable in their situation, and like their parents, follow Jesus.

Having reached this country, the subject of our memorial and his family lived at first in Newark, Ohio. They moved from there to St Albans. They were also there for a year. And in 1843 they moved to Flint Creek, Iowa. Their marriage up to this point had been full of effort and hard work for him and his faithful wife, despire supporting a large family, and doing all they could for the Lord's cause, who lay warmly on their hearts. [stuff about God that's complicated to translate - if you're really curious, I will, but it's irrelevant]. His son Thomas Morris is now in Newark, Ohio. (The Lord blessed this faithful boy to his parents, The Lord blessed him in a very short amount of time, and he had the means to support him and his wife comfortably, when, because of his ge and ill-health, he had to give up his trade. After giving up his career, he sold his possessions, and after building himself a small house in Long Creek (because, since two years he had been a member of the church there), he moved with his wife to Long Creek, where they lived until his death. Here we have taken a quick look at his worldly circumstances, which, since the similar meets the righteous as well as the unrighteous [im assuming smthg from the bible..], they wouldn't be worth recording: except because they[the worldly circumstances] give us the advantage of seeing more of the righteous excelling over his neighbour, they can be beneficial.

We promise easily that there are many faults - deficiencies and flaws in this man like others - because he was a man. And because we believe that the Lord hid all his faults and flaws...
