I’m sorry but if she’s lumping yoga and meditation with Satanism, then she really has no clue. Yoga and meditation have no ties to “black magic” or demons and have been practiced way way longer than Christianity. India is one of the birthplaces of civilization and Hindus have been practicing yoga and meditation as means to reach enlightenment and balance. Just because Westerners didn’t know about yoga until recently doesn’t mean it’s some new age religion.

Hell, Christian prayer is essentially meditation but whatever.

At the end of the day tarot represents archetypes and different ways to view ongoing situations. If you want to believe demons can come to you through the cards then your mind and imagination will probably do the work for you to believe that you’re being “haunted”. In reality, demons (if you’re so inclined to believe in them) have a lot better things to do with their time than messing with people using cards to answer their daily questions. Seriously. Some people do elaborate spellwork to conjure these entities and still fail so I’m really doubting that they just visit those who are dabbling in tarot. If it freaks you out then that’s fine, no one is forcing you or your friend to do anything.
