[NeedAdvice] my day usually gets ruined when i fail at one task

Hello! One thing that I read recently that has helped me is to divide the day into 4 parts - say 9am-noon, noon-3pm, 3pm-6pm, 6pm-9pm. It used to be that if I slept in too late, I'd ruin the rest of my day from feeling frustrated that I had already wasted so much of my day. But now, I can think of it as "okay, so I botched the first quarter of my day, but I still have 3 quarters of my day left to be productive" and that has really helped. Even on days when I've done nothing until 6pm, I can still say "I have a quarter left of my day to do something!

Basically with my day broken up into discrete parts, it's easier to leave my frustrated feelings in an earlier part of the day and take on a new mindset with the start of a new quarter of the day.
