Needing advice for my limp sad curls...

honestly, we have really similar hair and I mostly give up-I follow this sub still mostly to keep an eye out for other fine haired curlies to see if any have success stories. I have longer hair than yours, but 2b, c at its best, and it's fine and flat. When my hair is in weather conditions where it frizzes, that's the only time it has volume, and it always curls the best there-I had the best hair on vacation to the hot, muggy south, and I cannot recreate it in windy, dry Chicago winter. In fact, when it's windy my curl is blown right out, so my hair almost never keeps.

What I really need it something that will hold, but won't take away the frizz, as that's the only volume I get....and everyone else here is desperate to loose their frizz. I admit it doesn't look as polished, but the limp hanging pathetic curls I get look worse than frizz.

I have the best luck with non-cg silicone containing products, which has been really disheartening. I get the best hold feel and look from this mouse. I occasionally have luck with gel, but it's so random I can't tell if it's the gel that works or just the right weather to keep my hair. I pretty much have given up, and I know that's not great advice, but with very fine curly hair it is so difficult to find a product that works and looks decent that I'm too frustrated. I can't keep spending money to test products that don't work. It's a double blow, not only did I spend money on a product that's not working, but I also have shitty hair all the time.
