For the current deal, I am totally fine with him taking over. But it is far along in the deal and he does not know the small details.

I am not doing anything that even comes close to losing my license. I notified my former broker that I was thinking about leaving over a month ago, and told him officially before telling our clients. I’ve been completely transparent with him and he has agreed to all my requests. I’m not sure why you think I’ll be needing to look for a new job soon but thanks for the advice.
