Neighborhoods that are more family-friendly?

I think they just mean neighborhoods where their kids are safe to play outdoors, and that’s not always associated with drugs and drinking. There are some neighborhoods where the streets aren’t really safe for kids to ride their bikes, or there aren’t sidewalks, and no nearby parks. Some neighborhoods are built to prevent thru traffic, these are typically more family friendly because there only people driving around are those who live there. Less traffic = safer for kids.

My old neighborhood was a family haven, people out and around all the time. My new neighborhood isn’t this way, and its not because people are “doing drugs or drinking”.
