Neo Yokio was a fucking blast

Ok, so before you downvote me let me explain. The most noteable annoyance of this show I had was the voice to the main character Kaz Kaan. It sounds very off putting and changes pitches from high to low frequently (not unlike some normal teenagers) however in a 25-ish min long show, this gets really stale and downright obnoxious by the end of it. Furthemore you have this weird cast of characters. You have his seemingly gangster like friends potraying as young masters of wealthy household . This gives the image of it being a "a reversal of the social standings of today or something?" That idea is quickly shot down however by the appereance of the antagonist archaeo(whatever). Being this blonde arrogant and well spoken male gentlemen, he fulfills all of the stereotypes of the general master of a household. This gives way for many inconsistencies in the storytelling. If anything the general pattern of speech, which changes from high class british, to low class american. And makes for a rather confusing watch. It also gives preference to the idea that there were no plan as to what this show was going for. Merely it being a combination of whatever they could find. A big example of this is perhaps the robot butler. My first question, WHY? Compared to everyone else why do Kaz have a robot butler, and also how is no one asking questions? You have a sentient robot, that can talk, fly and become a submarine, and no one is asking questions. Let's take an example in the GoT universe. There is a specific speeching pattern to specific characters and the environment they grew up in. I would agree if you'd said thought process were unlike. Because they can be, but speeching patterns? Nope, won't happen. Also if Daenarys got her dragons suddenly, you would have a pretty understandable confused crowd wondering what was going on. This however is just my experiences and you might as well refute it or straight up call it "hating", but know this. Im neither forcing you to listen to me nor refuting your original statement of it being a satire. My point is that this was bad entartainment, in several ways. It may have some message to the public or something else, but at the end of the day it was executed without much chance to potray while still being enjoying to watch. As an everyday subscriber of Netflixs services, I find it is up to us to give feedback to Netflix on our opinions regarding their shows. So that they can focus their efforts on making content people enjoy. This was not it for me, good to see others enjoying it though. Rather im waiting for the next netflix original. End of textblock~~
