Netdecking is not a bad thing this community needs to understand that....

You probably found a lot today because of Kripp's latest video.

However, I always considered myself being against netdecking, so for a minute I'll ignore your insults and try to reason with you on why I feel that way.

First mistake you do: you cannot compare a game with thousands and thousands of cards and small-to-no-luck involved (Magic) other than drawing order with one that just arrived to over 500 cards and relies a lot to in-game luck (Hearthstone).

See, when you enter the world of Magic you might literally be overwhelmed by dozens of abilities, the order of the turns (land-combat-spell and counterspelling) and finding an archive of cards that would take days to just read, imagine to learn. So it would be understandable if someone looks up some guides for some help on how to start and get competitive sooner.

You enter Hearthstone, there are probably around ten abilities or so to learn, absolutely no order of turns execution (wanna play a spell first and then a minion or the contrary, or cast a minion right after trading and doing pretty much all you want?) and a combat system that couldn't be simpler if you tried. What I love about card games is a usual immense choice of how to build your own game and your own success. The creativity is infinite and the sky is the limit.

Yeah. Well. Netdecking kills all that makes card gaming beautiful. We are not talking of people netdecking to learn the first steps and go out on their own. We are talking of a game relatively poor in choices that people don't take seriously enough to learn ('cause it's free anyway) and since the choices are poor, and luck is important, somebody starting TODAY to play Hearthstone with a zoo deck, might outplay an expert gamer with a complex deck but bad luck. Somebody starting Magic TODAY, probably won't win against any expert player. And I bet most people won't explore the possibilities, they'll keep returning to those sites and copy decks and then "maybe" change one card from it. I'm not entirely sure how this cannot upset you.

Hearthstone is too simple to do that, and therefore becomes frustrating as all at some point.

You shared a video, well, the video explains to explore the possibilities, and literally says: "YOU DON'T WANT TO JUST DOWNLOAD DECKLISTS AND HOPE FOR THE BEST". And he says this about Magic, now imagine Hearthstone for frak sake.
