Networking engineers how do you remember all this stuff?

I'd say programming is harder imo. The majority of what you mentioned isn't even a requirement for a ton of I.T. jobs and isn't even exclusive to I.T. either like AWS and Azure which isn't even specific anyhow. CS careers fields also often have to understand some basic networking believe it or not. Security is also something a full stack developer especially needs to know. Also, Jamf seems more proprietary to Apple which is pretty niche and I definitely would nor say it is a requirement for most I.T. jobs. SCCM also not a requirement for plenty of shops.

The things he mentioned are definitely all requirements for that field at the technical level. I think a ton of people don't understand the programming world and how much it actually encompasses. They think it's just coding. It involves much more. I.T. isn't just "cloud" (which is a super broad space anyhow) and plenty of companies still do not utilize public cloud across the board and those that do still do not neccesarily involve a ton of their I.T. personnel on that in particular.

Front end is also likely much different than you think.
