Nevada should cap charter schools | Nevada Current

I was just having this conversation with someone the other day. I went to a Catholic school for 10 years and finished high school at a public school. Nearly the whole class was white, there were two mexican kids and a few Asian kids. I don't think I grew up knowing any black kids at all. Then I switched to a public school and I didn't know how to interact with anyone outside of the upper middle class white kids even though the school was much more diverse. This does not prepare you for the real world.

Do you see the same issues with charter schools? Are the students racially and financialy diverse? I have no experience with charter schools, I'm just curious.
