I never knew that DMing would be bittersweet

Gazzon was the first to die. He was the group's connection to the criminal underworld and the first member they met. He tried to recruit the party but in the most beautiful murderhobo fashion they killed him when he threaten them when they didn't accept his offer.

Though out the rest of the campaign they befriended Beo and Snat. Which they were the most innocent of the group both wanting to having fun and make friends.

They showed Beo the error of his way midway through the campaign and he decided to stop supporting the family and wanted no part in killing anymore and ran away to the party's temple and joined them. His decision to leave the family forced a recuse mission that led to death of ~50 civilians and a death of a party member in order to retrieve him and not let their plan be revealed. This lead him to rejoin the family as a former shell of himself all the while they tried to convince him it was the good for the family.

Snat is an idiot savant who is only good at making magical weapons and armors to the point they become sentient, which he calls them his friends. Has abandonment issues because his mother abandoned him when he was young because she couldn't bear being reminded the that she gave birth to the product of her rape. He doesn't understand this so thinks that it is his fault. He met the party and easily became friends with them but because of a forced time jump of 5 months in the story and the party's actions to eliminate the family's army Snat lost a lot of people and is heartbroken because of it.

The Catal and Hin died yesterday by the hands of the party. They were tasked to retrieve an artifact that was essential to open the means of them gaining immortality, but also unleashed a great evil as its cost, which the party was going to stop. The two were locked in a game of life and death against the party and there was no way for the party to save them. Funnily enough had Catal sacrificed Hin in the game he would have won and gotten the artifact

The last was Delilah, she was my DMPC.
