New 2GG ruleset for Smash Ultimate

Smash Ultimate is going to be a game that gets balance changes according to how characters hold up on Battlefield and/or Omega online in Elite Smash. The idea that we need to "punish" zoning characters by allowing ultra small stages is ridiculous; if those characters are imba on neutral stages then they should be nerfed. This game isn't Melee, it doesn't need to rely on players making their own rules to try to balance the cast.

And no, I'm not saying that anyone needs to get nerfed yet, I'm just saying if for whatever reason zoning characters are imba, allowing tournament level players to counter-pick small stages isn't going to fix the balance for the vast majority of the community who play online anyways, and once the nerfs DO come through then zoning characters will be fucked on a competitive level if small stage counter-picks exist.

Also, I said this in a different thread, a 7-9 sized map pool is best, you want enough stages that there's variety but not so many stages that casual spectators don't know what map is being played. 7-9 is perfect for that spot.
