Prometheus being 400 some light years away nailed the right atmosphere absolutely. The Scotland landscape and no signs of life translates to a literally enjoyably not enjoyable deep space experience. The mysterious temples is such a nice touch. The big holographic circle thing they use to drive is where they almost lost that believable vibe.

Alien covenant disrespected the planet of the engineers because it is too hard or too expensive or impossible to keep the deepness of prometheus and not be lame world building tropes i.e gen z flickering lights pixel glitter mess.

I want this movie to at least make knowing every character is getting killed except one to be interesting, which has never been a problem. So I'm excited.

If this movie makes the engineers literally creepy that would be great.
