New to Carl Jung's writings and ideas...could he potentially have been a sufferer of OCD?

I was young battling with OCD too. It’s all about how you direct it. For years, I had poor coping mechanisms and watched my thoughts get darker and darker. I didn’t have any constructive hobbies, and my will or knowledge how to rewire my brain wasn’t even known to me. I accepted myself as “diagnosed”, when little did I know... there’s a way to rewire the mind and make use of intelligence as a higher mammal. Anyone who sits still and lets thoughts consume their mind will then become their thoughts. Finding the strength to direct those thoughts toward something that will require the brain, like exercise, yoga and reading (my favorite examples), will find that their brain will settle. An untrained mind will run in circles. Jung used his OCD to write about his experiences. This man didn’t sit still. I guarantee you that he was active, meditated and continuously learned new things.
