New Data Shows OPD Turn On Body Cameras 95% of the Time

I agree that everyone is constantly lying. Most of the time, they don't even think they are lying. They believe what they are saying. I've personally had bad experiences with the police, but that doesn't lead me to the conclusion that every claim against the police is true. I've had good experiences too. I've been pulled over after having dinner with friends, the CHP officer smelled alcohol, had me do the walking thing, I was honest with him about what I drank, and I was 2 blocks from home. He told me to slow it down and be more careful in the future. I've also had a CHP officer pull me over for speeding and go ape shit on me and try to write me up for a far more serious infraction. Fortunately, those ace traffic lawyers outside the courthouse dispensed with her B.S. pretty quickly.

I've also had family members who've been "in the system" and so I'm quite aware of how completely screwed up it can be.

I think we're agree on the substance and you'd prefer I use less provocative language.

I use the term "pro-crime" and "SJW" to describe people who believe the police are 100% wrong 100% of the time and make a big stink 100% of the time without even considering the facts. When I was younger I was definitely more prone to have the "dats the man keeping us down" mentality because I didn't grow up with a positive impression of the police. While I still carry some level of suspicion about them, I'm also completely fucking tired of the people who make everything a cause. You are mostly a pretty reasonable, balanced, and intelligent person. And, I do acknowledge when I think you make a good point.

So please tell me what better words I should use for these tactics and people who I find so problematic instead of "pro-crime" and "SJW" -- I'll use those words instead.
