New Deal Manifesto - What are the 10-15 core policies we should endorse as a community? We are publishing a policy manifesto we will use to determine which candidates New Deal America endorses, popularizes, and fundraises for.

These are just in random order: - M4A - Money out of politics - Green New Deal (including a government work guarantee), focused on both infrastructure (especially rail) development and climate issues - Campaign zero police reforms - Voting reform (election holiday, massive expansion of voting centres) - Tax breaks for worker co-ops and tax increases for traditional businesses - Free college - Letting prisoners vote - Drastically increase spending on public schools - End all current foreign wars/sanctions - Eliminating medical and college debt - Guarantee internet access as a right for all Americans - Legalisation, taxation and regulation of all drugs and sex work - Expand background checks for firearms while keeping them available - Statehood for DC (or just splitting it between its neighbouring states) and Puerto Rico.
