New difficulty is killing the casual experience.

Keeping all things constant (mediocre rewards, primary weapon damage, etc), they might as well have made grandgrandmaster nightfalls or grandmaster raids and dungeons and leave the lost sectors, regular strike playlist, legend and below nightfalls, and goddamn fucking patrols alone.

That’s always gonna be a problem with games with a relatively large and vocal population that no-life the game; people who solo grandmasters, low man raids, or god knows whatever the fuck else. To be honest, I have never even heard of anyone asking for these changes, only praises for last season’s battlegrounds and seraph’s shield and if that was their basis, they missed by a long shot. Catering to that population only raises the bar for and alienates casuals.

I was just about ready to start recommending the game to friends back in witch queen/season of the seraph but now I’m gonna hold back on it a bit longer.
