The new dungeon difficulty struggles because of disconnect between two player types and is a good point to talk about difficulty in Destiny going forward.

I agree, which is why I said that the difficulty itself can be tweaked more if it needs to be even more challenging. I know Day 1 is a bit skewed and we need to give it more time, but I think this is a good template for what a high tier difficulty could look like without Champions or Match Game.

I still think there is a place for GMs or Champions or even Match Game in the game, especially GMs as they're a very unique kind of thing above Master content. But at least for Legend and Master (which I don't personally think is much harder once you are on level, many groups are speedrunning it and Master Wellspring is a breeze), I think this could work.
