New fans be like, "Who?"

This raises an important question regarding a fan base. What do we want? Different people can disagree. Many people are very comfortable having a team with players that are highly connected to the city and make fans feel great. Real Salt Lake had Rimando who just retired and resigned Beckerman. The Arizona Cardinals have been overpaying Fitzgerald for years. Another fan base might want win at all costs. It doesn’t mean you don’t have loved players coincidentally. It just means ambition over complacency. New England is win at all costs and just happen to like Brady. Many teams would keep Gressel no matter what as a popular marketing device of good will as well as an awesome player. They might overpay to do that. It appears we might be an ambitious team that wouldn’t overpay a Beckerman for five years.
