Because people are stupid. Period.

They used the same UI for god knows how long. Any change is like the end of the world for them. "It's not like I had it the last 500 days I sat on my computer, so it must suck!"

Legit the only thing in the Proton, that I might change in the next couple of days, is the blue highlighting around the text boxes like here in the comment field on reddit or the search.

But i'll give it a shot first and then see about that.

It feels faster and smoother than 88. I have no issues with "wasted space" (maybe those people should upgrade from a 15"?) and overall it runs and looks great.

I tried that Alpenglow theme for a bit, but I prefer the dark theme, too. And with that it looks fantastic.
