New to this game got some questions

  1. Does literally everyone camp? I’ve played like 100 matches and I’d say 99% camp the rocket chair after someone’s put in. This is obviously avoidable by not going to the chair which I don’t but my teammates do and then just die leaving me to have to either do 3 Cipher Machines or approach the camper. In DBD camping removes score from the killer and won’t make them pip but this game bases winning off of kills instead of score so it doesn’t matter if you play well or not as long as two die.

I'd say most huntets do camp. it is a valid strategy but not saving you teammate isn't the only way to counter it

I recommend seeing videos of how pro players recue their teammates. it requires a little mind games but you'll get the hang of it

  1. What’s even the point of Tide Turner?

I really don’t get it. I thought I’d be like Borrowed Time where you can mend or something after receiving the hit and running away. But if you get hit, you’ll just be downed in like 20 seconds and there’s nothing you can really do about it. I get that it could be used to get an escape but it’s a one time use, meaning that if I save the survivor and there’s no Hunter around it’s just wasted.

I used to think tide turner was useless too. l

but the point of tide turner is stalling time for the teammates to decode. also with tide turner, you can take the hit and run away. if the hunter tunnels on the chaired person then the rescuer should bodyblock and run and go down somewhere far from the hunter
