new green leaf players on duty roulettes

This is honestly one of the reasons why as a long time No-fake mentor, I ended up sticking to give advices only on the Novice Network and open world and gave up on giving them in duties. Also one of the reasons why I have the crown turned off.

Many times when giving advices I had replies like "stfu, I know what I am doing" (like the day I had this tank poping all Def CDs at the same time before pulling the bosses), "no need to tell me what to do", the typical "you dont pay my sub", "I dont need your help" or they just dont listen, ignore and keep doing the same thing. A lot of people act like they know everything. Now only moment I throw an advice is after wipes or when someome keep messing up a key mechanic. Sometimes I had players who welcomed them, but were few.

but I was very disappointed that the first experience of the other two teammates was this. I hope that they will not be disheartened by it and continue play.

The times I had this happen what I used to do to avoid giving a bad impression was telling to the one who did it that that kind of behavior isnt welcomed on FFXIV and that they could keep it for themselves, changing it or carrying it back to their last MMO...

That way the other new players see it like "oh, it seems players here are more tolerant instead of just bashing them or acting with a kicking". If the guy quit, the other 2 see it as a rage quit. But if they keep being agressive, even the new players agree with the kicks and dont find it wrong. If somehow I would end up kicked, I would tell to myself "Good luck spending 40 mins inside and finishing it without wipes". Reporting you does nothing since GMs read chat logs.
