New guy I’m seeing thinks he’s bigger than he is and I’m a terrible liar

The guy is roughly 5 inches, that's statically average. Granted, the guy has a huge shift between his actual size/perception. OP also has a shift, but in lesser scale, more realistic but not accurate still. She says she wants average, gets something that's roughly average and he is making up for it, then what's her definition of her average?

If women want to talk about dick size, they must inform themselves, and not use their vaginas and eyes as a gauge. For some average is 5-7, for other average is 4-5, for others small is anything less than 6. But if women want to keep talking about penises in such a freely way, at least go by statistics. That's why I don't talk about bra size because I don't know about boob size, even though ive touched several boobs in my life.

If women are all in for her preferences being respected as much as guys preferences, then they should be held accountable for their own anatomy and preferences, and not put the burden on guys just because the penis is external, easy to measure, and worst of all, all of them want men to shut the fuck up about penis size topics (men must be confident). For instance (not OP case) a woman could perfectly say: "he was average but that is too small for me" or just "small for me" or "I can't feel that size much". You only see it from big to medium, like, "he was too big for me" "my body can't handle such big penises", because most women are not reluctant to admit the guy is large, but that's usually not the case when the guy is small.

Actually she want to be with someone who is below average to her eyes, because he makes up for it. She said it. And even if 5.5 is average, 5 inches is not significantly below average as you say.

All I'm saying, her definition of average could be perfectly the range 5 - 7 inches. That's on her, not on average guys. She shouldn't claim she prefers average if that's the actual range of what she considers average.
