New here. I buy a lot of nerf second hand because I work at an op shop. This is my newest find and I'm in love.

I thrifted a Diatron for like 4 bucks once. I didn't ever plan on using it, and so proceeded to gut it for its sweet sweet shell.

Little did I know the sheer amount of engineering that went into a blaster like this. I don't know how they managed to pack as many internal functions into a springer as they did for this thing, but even destructively dissecting it was a challenge. The coil assembly even snapped down onto my thumb at one point as I was trying to separate it from one of the larger gearboxes inside, and took a decent-sized chunk out of my cuticle. Only blaster that's ever injured me while I was actively trying to kill it.

So, keep this one intact for the mere fact that it's a marvel of mechanical engineering and the designers should be respected as such.
