New HP PC won’t boot and can’t go into system recovery

Update: I booted from a recovery USB. I clicked repair my computer and tried all the options available:

  • system restore didn’t work because apparently there are no restore points. Apparently Windows 10 does not automatically set restore points like I remember previous Windows versions doing.

  • startup repair didn’t work, error message is vague and explains nothing

  • reverting to previous version did not work, also vague error message

  • I watched the “Windows 10 startup loop fix” video and followed the steps, but towards the end the guy said if my computer showed all zeros then it wasn’t going to work, so I didn’t dare try

  • tried to reinstall, choosing the option that lets me keep my files, but again it couldn’t do it

I feel like I’ve exhausted my options and I don’t know what is wrong with this computer that I bought only a month ago. Does anyone have any suggestions at all?
