New Jersey Governor’s Race Is Getting Interesting and Maybe Even Competitive

I mean I voted for Murphy. Figured he’d be nice change since Christie. After he implemented gas tax I was pissed.

Honestly was pretty happy with Murphy until the pandemic. Then he did things like upping toll prices at the height of the pandemic where people were out of work and those who were working had to travel like doctors and nurses or put covid patience in retirement homes and I was done.

And I mean taxes should be a huge issue. We’re one of the highest taxed states and we just give money to other states. Like no offense, but fuck Florida and other states syphoning from us. Lower taxes and stop bailing them out. Florida collects no income tax because we pay it for them. It’s a joke.

I know first time homeowners who live in small 2 bedroom homes (old bridge and similar areas) who pay 8-16,000$ in property tax for literal garbage property (compared to other states). It’s unaffordable.
