not right after you shave (same day) because shaving takes of a layer of skin and that's exfoliation on it's own. If you physically exfoliate (like a scrub) then you can do it the next day. If you chemically exfoliate, just skip the aha step the day you shave and go back to regular routine. The way i shave is before cleansing on a make up free face. I usually do it in the morning where my skin is still has product from the night before. There are techniques on youtube and such. For your first time, you could go to a salon and get it done. I live in NY and it was $75 for a dermaplane session with a facial, so it wasn't super expensive or anything and totally worth the money. My makeup looks better and my skin care goes in deeper.
