NEW OR NEED HELP? Ask here! - ScA Daily Help Thread Sep 30, 2019

Hello Reddit! I would like to get some advice on how to incorporate retinol into my daily skin care regime. Previously my biggest skin concerns were evening my tone and keeping pimples at bay but recently my skin has been doing great, so I would love to shift focus to anti-aging. My skin type is pretty normal but can be slightly dry. Thanks!

AM: I wash my face with Philosophy’s purity cleanser, using my Foreo. I then tone with Thayers rose petal witch hazel, wait for it to dry then apply Derma-E’s vitamin C serum. Finally, I apply Garnier’s clearly brighter sunscreen/moisture and a few sprays of Mario Badescu water spray, plus cocoa butter Vaseline on my lips.

PM: I wash my face with Philosophy’s purity cleanser, using my Foreo. I then tone with The Ordinary’s glycolic acid, wait for it to dry then follow it up with Clean&Clear’s salicylic acid spot treatment. Finally, I finish it off with CeraVe’s moisturizing cream and a few sprays of Mario Badescu water spray, plus cocoa butter Vaseline on my lips.

Additional: I exfoliating 1-3x a week using Acure’s brightening scrub. I have also been on a hormonal birth control for 5 years, which I feel helps control my breakouts.
