NEW OR NEED HELP? Ask here! - ScA Daily Help Thread Jan 18, 2020

I’m at a point where I’m not sure what to do, and am in need some help and input

This is my skin at this point, it’s localized on just my forehead, I have some on my back but not enough to worry about and my main focus is clearing up my forehead

My routine is as such —

AM Wash Face (PanOxy BP %4) Take Doxycycline 120 mg Put on Face Moisturizer (Cerave Facial Moisturizer with 30 SPF) Put on Moisturizer (Cerave Daily Moisturizer for hands and rest of body)

PM Put on Differin on Forehead

I had pretty bad cystic acne and have been on Doryx for 3 months and saw improvements in my deep acne, however I wasn’t seeing results with my surface level acne, for the past month I’ve used Differin everyday before bed and saw some improvements but the two areas above my eyebrows seem to just not go away, and both developed pretty big pimples which is why I wanna reach out, its like little red pimples that don’t have a head and cause lots of redness when seen up close

Does anyone have experience with this type of acne or any advice they can pass on? Should I switch up my routine or stick with it and hope for better results, last year I was in a similar position and cleared up my skin with this routine however the acne was different back then this acne is a bit more susceptible to scarring which is why I'm nervous.

I really don't want to go on Accutane because of the whole purging process and also because it's just on my forehead like the rest of my face is completely clear and almost glowing, which is frustrating.
