Hmm. I can’t blame her for wanting to get off of it if she is having bad side effects. Everyone’s different, and one person can sail through with minimal side effects from something, while another can react very negatively to it. Our bodies are all so different. Is it harmful for her to stop taking it early? It could very well be that she has something like PCOS, which can be fixed naturally with diet changes and supplements...and can also be sorted out with birth control or other medications. I do know vegetarians that have had PCOS, because if protein intake is low and carbs are high, that can cause problems for some people. Something like that should be diagnosable through hormone testing, which you can have done by a doctor...but you can also do you own testing in the mail and analyze the results, and then a naturopath could be helpful if that’s the route she wants to go.
