New NES and SNES Online games will no longer be released monthly

I was not intending to imply that this was entirely Nintendo's fault, but pretending the 20 games we got really compares to the 51 you can buy on the Wii U right now isn't fair either, or the 74 the Wii had and that list included Final Fantasy 2 and 3, and Chrono Trigger, and Super Star Wars, and Zombies Ate My Neighbors. This isn't because of Nintendo but we are comparing NSO to VC here, and NSO doesn't really stack up unless you are strictly talking game per dollar over a year. I can fire up my Wii and play any of those games even though the eshop has died, that's not something that will be true in the future for NSO unless Nintendo changes that.

I would be fine if we actually got N64 on NSO, even if it's only what Nintendo owns, the problem is at this rate the best we can hope for is to get that next year, maybe, assuming we don't get GB/GBC next and they take as long with that as they did NES. People would have a lot more trust if it didn't take over a year of NES games to get any sign of another system.

You realize your can run Dolphin on any remotely modern smart phone right? It's a little rough, but the Switch with actual Nintendo support should be able to figure it out. I'm not saying it's likely but it would sure as hell be nice, and should certainly be possible.Again, even Nintendo only games would be nice.
