Perhaps I should just stop commenting. I point out a fact regarding retro kits being in the game previously, and I get downvoted with very little discourse.

Regardless of a specific set of teams signing deals with Konami, was there any real reason to remove the dozens upon dozens of other retro kits? Why can't Newcastle fans use Shearer in their famous brown ale kit, for example? There were retro kits for almost all Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and LaLiga kits a few years ago, if I recall correctly.

If there's some specific licensing issue that can be pointed to, then I understand. Since it is EA who are as transparent as lead, we won't know.
