New paint job for UK Government Voyager aircraft revealed

Personally whilst the paint job is nice it’s a waste of a perfectly good military aircraft. This aircraft cannot be deployed now and could only be used for training. If they had left it grey and just upgraded the interior when needed then it could still have been used in war zones. No way a paint job cost 900k though when civilian aircraft paint jobs vary from 100-200k surely additional works have been completed to justify the cost. Then again this is air tanker so they can charge what they want. Iirc to retrofit a tanking nozzle would have been circa 200k if we owned the aircraft however air tanker did it for 1.1 mil (figures may not be correct but premise is)
