As a new player, I can see why newer players quit this game before they can have fun; and it’s not because of the game itself.

They spawn camp relentlessly.

People pointed this shit out with Titanfall 2 from pretty much day one, but it was never fixed. There was one top tier PC player who used to post regularly on here who posted a video of him just sitting in one spot, waiting for people to come out of spawn, then gunning them down.

The game really needs skill-based matchmaking and it needs to prioritise party vs. party, just like Overwatch does. If I queue with a 6 stack in Overwatch, I'm highly likely to be matched with either a 5+1 or another 6 stack, but because Titanfall has never had these features from day one, people quit the game and move on and it ends up a mix of hardcore fans and n00bs playing, which is a terrible combination when the matchmaking is basically random.

In the first game, camping was a recipe for disaster too. You had to keep mobile or you'd get fucked up. In Titanfall 2, it clearly works given the number of players - even experienced players - that do it.
