I can’t agree more. Every game is full of toxic people now. I bought Sea of Thieves, people try to sink me and steal my loot. Then I tried GTA V and people kill me and destroy my cars. I liked the look of overwatch and yet again, people kept killing me.

Sea of Thieves implied to me that you could just sail without any thieves and it’s market as a pirate game. So I don’t understand why people are killing me and stealing my loot... that’s not what pirates did :(

Serious though... what’s up with people complaining about this... and yes, a ships chased you for “just castaway chests” but unfortunately you can’t see the loot of a ship until you actually caught up.

If you get caught and murdered by a sloop, get good! If you get spawn camped by a 4 people pirate legend crew that means you get caught by a galleon.

So, you either didn’t check your surroundings (it’s a rather big ship coming to you) or you didn’t run away (a sloop is the fastest ship against the wind, if you tried to run with the wind from a big ship with 3 sails... Learn the game and get good).

Whenever a galleon is chasing me I have the best time of my life. Trying to outmaneuver them, harpooning around rocks, jumping of at a fort and trying to keg them... so many things you can do. It’s big, has large turns and is one of the fastest sinking ships.

TLDR; Get good at the game instead of calling people toxic that play the game in a way that it’s designed.
