You might like this interview, it hits at a lot of the same points about Buttigieg and Warren. Biden and Bernie appeal to the majority of voters and independents for a reason. It is because they don't look at people who don't agree with them culturally as the "other". Bernie has supported gay rights his whole life, but he won't make fun of or demean people who are culturally opposed to it, he will just tell them they are wrong. Same with Biden, you really can't explain that kind of appeal, they don't make people feel stupid is the best way I can describe it.
