New and have some questions

The 15 minute breaks are paid no need to clock out, lunches on 6+ hour shifts are off the clock.

To add to this

1st break is 2 hours after you clock in

Lunch is at the 4 hour mark, usually an hour. But before the 5th hour, 4 hour mark is best habbit but no later then 4.5 hours. You can take it 4 hr 59mins but its gonna get you in trouble. If working a 6 hour shift, take a 30.

2nd break is 2 hours after lunch. If 6 hour shift, just go home.

You can clock in up to 9 mins early, x:51 but better to clock in x:53. X:23 if you are mid hour.

You can clock out up to 9 mins early, same example as clocking in.

Avoid clocking in 9 mins when necessary, it starts to add up in OT and management will get on your ass making you cut hours or cutting your schedule short.

Never, ever, stand near a time clock and wait to clock out on the hour. Its called time theft and they can terminate your ass at any time; which isn't worth 3 minutes a day staring at the clock no matter how you think that 15 minutes looks at the end of the week and 30 minutes doing nothing on the paycheck; as you maybe unemployed for a couple of weeks before you find another job. If you have to, just drag it out as you walk to the time clock and look like you are doing something.
