You literally want people ONLY say things you agree on.

No, I want to have conversations were people are allowed to disagree with each other. You want to talk about whether Vision would work as a replacement for Adam Warlock in the Infinity Gauntlet movie? We can disagree on that without calling anyone names.

But these conversations about feminist issues are divisive and acrimonious because they are trolling. They are designed to infuriate anyone who doesn't agree with the feminist viewpoint that we live in a woman-hating world by default, and the people who buy into that viewpoint cannot tolerate any dissent.

There not even really conversations about Marvel Studios. They use Marvel Studios as a jumping off point, but they're really about much broader issues in society that are far beyond the scope of this subreddit.

Go back and look at the Joss Whedon threads and you'll see tons of people expressing their strong dislike for feminists and the way they behave in fandoms. But those people disappear when these articles get posted because they know no disagreement will be tolerated, and any counter-arguments will only be met with character attacks.

The other ones must be banished outside of YOUR place.

I actually feel fairly strongly that the people who engage in harassment and trolling and try to drive off anyone who disagrees with them are the ones who feel people need to be banished.

All I've done is give them a place where they can discuss these issues with likeminded people, and not have to deal with anyone disagreeing. If they want to keep posting here and attacking people who disagree, then they can at the same time admit they are trolling.
