New to used cars

I've developed a litmus test for whether or not someone is informed about the scope of work they're projecting, and whether or not they understand the intricacies and labor of the details.

"All you have to do is. . ."

As soon as someone utters that sentence (or one materially similar) you know they've not done enough research, and they want you to do something fairly involved for very cheap.

If "all I have to do is" cut and weld a piece of aluminum to tight tolerances, why don't you do it?

If "all I have to do is" stick some posts in the ground and attach structural pieces to them and expect them to withstand heavy winds, why don't you do it?

"All you have to do. . ."

All you have to do is buy a magically cheap car and sell it for more money. Step 3, profit.
