I think a lot of people have problems with absolutes and weight loss, especially when it interferes with social activities. Did you dind this to be a problem? What are your tips for saying "absolutely no" if someone buys you a slice of cake for your birthday, a soda to celebrate finals week, or a beer to celebrate graduation? How were you able to say "NO," without taking a single sip, bite, etc.?
When I was diagnosed with Celiac disease, my extremely restricted diet changed not only the way I hung out with people, but my religion, as well. I cannot partake in my religious rites anymore or have a slice of wedding or birthday cake. I imagine a similar diet of absolutes without any compromise probably took its toll on your social life.
